Typhoo Tea, a 120-year-old tea company, has been acquired by Manchester-based vape maker Supreme for £10 million after falling into administration due to declining sales and increasing debts. The new ownership ensures that Typhoo remains in British hands, although its manufacturing will shift abroad. Supreme is known for its e-cigarette brand 88Vape and supplies nicotine and home products to various supermarkets.
