Violent Clashes Erupt in Bologna Amid Anti-Fascist Protests
Violent clashes broke out in Bologna on November 9, as anti-fascist protesters confronted police during a demonstration against the neo-fascist group Casa Pound. Protesters threw metal objects and smoke bombs, while police responded with batons and water cannons. One man with fascist tattoos was reportedly beaten by demonstrators. Additionally, around 200 anarchists marched peacefully against the Casa Pound rally. Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi condemned the aggression faced by police, urging all political and social forces to reject dangerous behavior in a democracy.
