Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Slovakia has offered to be a ‘platform’ for potential peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, nearly three years into the invasion. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed his country’s willingness to facilitate such talks. During a press conference, Putin emphasized that Moscow will achieve all its objectives in Ukraine and mentioned the possible use of the new hypersonic ballistic missile Oreshnik if necessary.
