Volksbank is set to close nearly half of its SNS Bank and RegioBank branches, reducing the number from over 600 to between 320 and 360 due to a reorganization plan that will also eliminate 700 to 750 jobs. The bank aims to consolidate its brands, including ASN Bank and BLG Wonen, into a single brand by the end of the year. Additionally, Volksbank plans to adopt a franchising model for its remaining branches.
