This Christmas, volunteers in Dublin have brightened the holiday season for older residents by delivering decorated trees and festive dinners as part of ALONE’s campaign. The initiative, led in part by the nephew of ALONE’s founder, Willie Bermingham, has been met with joy from recipients who cherish the return of Christmas traditions. The deliveries included decorated trees and specially prepared dinners, with assistance from volunteers, including those displaced by the war in Ukraine. ALONE aims to provide support and companionship to older citizens nationwide.
