Southern Water has announced that nearly 60,000 homes in Hampshire, particularly in Southampton, Eastleigh, Romsey, and the New Forest, will soon have their water supply restored. The company fixed a fault at the Testwood Water Supply Works, which had left residents without service. As of Thursday, the reservoir is being filled with drinking water, and reconnections are expected to take place later in the day.
