The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that a team successfully delivered humanitarian aid to Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, where conditions are reportedly dire. The team, led by WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, brought 5,000 liters of fuel, food, and medicines, while evacuating three patients and their companions to Al-Shifa Hospital. The hospital has suffered damage from ongoing hostilities, complicating healthcare delivery. Dr. Tedros has called for the protection of healthcare and an immediate ceasefire amid the violence.
