Widespread Power Outages Persist as ESB Networks Resumes Work Post-Storm Darragh

ESB Networks has resumed efforts to restore power to thousands affected by Storm Darragh, which caused extensive damage to the electricity supply. While the number of customers without power has decreased from a peak of 395,000, many homes and businesses may remain without electricity for several days. Northern Ireland Electricity Networks is also working on reinstating power for over 20,000 customers still affected. Service disruptions across mobile and broadband have been significant, especially in counties Donegal and Mayo.
