The Kalamata Mountaineering Club will conduct its first winter ascent of 2025 on the highest peak of Taygetus, Prophetes Ilias, on January 5-6. Participants must have appropriate gear and good physical condition, as the climb is rated with a difficulty level of 5-6. The departure is set for January 5 at 12:00 PM from the club’s facilities, with a participation fee of 20 euros. The schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions and participant capabilities.
