Woman Released After Manslaughter Arrest Linked to Care Home Deaths

A 60-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the deaths of three residents at Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage has been released without charge. The residents, two men aged 74 and 91, and an 86-year-old woman, were discovered deceased on October 23. Dorset Police are investigating, with carbon monoxide poisoning considered a possible cause, but the circumstances remain classified as ‘unexplained.’ Authorities note it may take months to determine the exact cause of death pending forensic analysis.
