World Premiere of ‘Rust’ Film Held in Poland Amid Controversy

The world premiere of the western film ‘Rust’ took place in Toruń, Poland, three years after the tragic on-set shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Actor Alec Baldwin, involved in the incident, did not attend. Despite past legal troubles, the film’s director Joel Souza emphasized the completion of the project was supported by Hutchins’ family. The screening honored her memory, with attendees including the new cinematographer Bianca Cline, who aimed to preserve Hutchins’ vision in the film.
