Wreckage of Pan Am Flight 103 Transported to US for Abu Agila Masud’s Trial

The wreckage of Pan Am Flight 103, which was bombed over Lockerbie in 1988, is being moved to the US as evidence for the trial of Abu Agila Masud, accused of constructing the bomb. The transfer process involves sharing key evidence between Scottish and American prosecutors. All 270 victims, including 190 Americans, were killed in the attack, which remains one of the deadliest terrorist incidents against the US prior to September 11. The trial is set to take place in federal court in Washington next May.
