Fourteen-year-old Joe Shannon from Longford is poised to make history as the youngest Irish player in the World Snooker Tour, taking on world number 23 Robert Milkins in the Snooker Shoot Out in Leicester. The Irish Under-16 champion has been training under the guidance of former player Fergal O’Brien. Despite his young age, Shannon displays remarkable determination and dedication, practicing three hours a day and competing regularly.
