The mayor emphasized the pressing need for compensation for olive producers, as well as potential measures to mitigate climate change effects, including an irrigation system. Minister Tsialas acknowledged the economic ramifications of the issue and revealed that the Ministry is seeking European support and funding to address the crisis.
