The Zagori Ecological Museum has been awarded by the European Heritage Days for its role in promoting cultural heritage. To celebrate, it will host the event ‘#EchoesofTradition’ in Ioannina on January 8, 2025, featuring exhibitions, discussions on mobile herding, and traditional music performances. Co-founder Panagiota Koutsoukou emphasized the museum’s dedication to preserving local biodiversity and inspiring the establishment of similar museums across Greece.
