Zoran Milanovic Declared Winner of Croatian Presidential Election in First Round
Zoran Milanovic has reportedly won the Croatian presidential election with 51.48% of the votes, defeating conservative candidate Dragan Primorac. This victory, attributed to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), would mark a surprising achievement if officially confirmed, as most polls expected a runoff. Since Croatia’s independence in 1991, only Franjo Tudjman has won the presidency outright in the first round.
