Outgoing Croatian President Zoran Milanović failed to secure re-election in the first round and will compete against Dragan Primorac, the candidate from the ruling conservative party, in a runoff scheduled for two weeks from now. With 99% of the votes counted, Milanović, backed by the Social Democratic Party, received 49.20% of the votes, while Primorac garnered 19.43%.
